There were two Episcopal Addresses to the 46th Annual Convention of
the Diocese of Northwest Texas, which met October 29-31 in Midland
At the center of these was Bishop Ohl's
Charge
to Convention, delivered on the floor of Convention on Saturday, October
30.
Our Guest Speaker at Convention was the Rev. Linda
Grenz, Publisher and CEO of LeaderResources, and a powerful preacher
and teacher. Her Sermon at
Friday Evensong and
Speaker's Address on Saturday are well worth reading.

The convention passed
an important Resolution on Apportionment and Reconciliation. This is an
unofficial, but I believe correct, copy of that Resolution.

of special note concerns Clergy Compensation.

Other business at the October, 2004 Convention included the
Bishop's Appointments and
Deanery Elections.
